Headspacing shim for MG34 or MG42 Barrels. The shim fits between the shoulder on the barrel and the locking collar to add locking headspace to the barrel assembly

BE SURE TO CHECK YOUR HEADSPACE:
If the headspace is too short, add shims to move the locking elements in the locking collar rearward relative to the chamber.
If the headspace is too long, material must be removed from the shoulder to bring the locking elements in the locking collar forward relative to the chamber.
MG-42 Info:
It’s very important to verify headspace with the specific bolt, barrel, and type of ammo you are using (7.62 vs .308 Win.). Headspace that is too short can result in very dangerous out-of-battery detonations.
