Striker/Firing Pin,
Early type with lug on front. This lug helps to orient the firing pin and is an additional safety feature to prevent striker contact with the primer until the bolt is in the locked position.
NOTE: An early pattern bolt head is require to use this type of firing pin. These bolt heads are easily identified by the notch on the threaded portion the screws into the bolt carrier.
