Brass Cleaning Rod Adapter
For use with any bore over: .238"OD / 6.1mm OD

Female threaded on both ends:
- One end is threaded 8-32 for standard US pattern cleaning brushes by Hoppes, Kleenbore, CVC, Outers, etc
- The other end is a standard 4mm metric thread pattern (4mm x .07mm) commonly used on many European military cleaning rods.
We made these primarily for the excellent Yugoslav military cleaning rods to be used with common US pattern cleaning brushes and accessories. The Yugoslav machine gun rods are sectionally designed with brass bushings and are ideal rods that be be used for pistols and rifles with bore diameters 7mm or bigger. We use them for all of our 308/7.62, 8mm, 9mm, 45ACP machine guns. While the rods are great, surplus brushes and can be hard to source and this adapter is ideal for using standard US brushings and other attachments.
These are also great for adapting your AK and SKS cleaning rods as well.
** AK cleaning rods could be either 4mm x .7 or 3.5mm x .6. These adapters are only compatible with the 4mm x .7 rods.
